Naz is an amazing photographer, the final product being only one part of the service that I loved. She is extremely professional yet also warm and friendly, her personality is why I want to give a good review as well as how amazing and wonderful my wedding photos came out.
She made me feel like I was a model on a set, she paid attention to me but to also the little things that you want a photographer to see. She was the one that fixed the train of my dress throughout the day so that it sat correctly, she made sure that my hair wasn't out of place- she was the one who I looked to the whole day long, She was this beautiful calm presence but who I also felt had my back, she was looking out for me. She paid attention to not only that my guests were facing and smiling at the camera but to how the entire shot was going to look - lighting, attire, background, etc. She made sure the sun didn't make me squint funny and that my jewelry was lying flat. She was my extra set of eyes, it like was a security blanket I didn't even know I needed.
And then the pictures, I cannot rave enough about the final product. Not only did Naz have good ideas for unusual artistic shots that I hadn't even thought of, the pictures all came out so so good. And I honestly have to tell you the first two times I went through them I had tears running down my face. It brought me back and I got to live the day again, for that I will always be grateful.
And I had this unspeakably amazing set of hundreds of pictures! It was hard to weed them down, honestly, there were so many good ones. Ones where we looked pretty or handsome, ones where we looked happy, ones where you could see the relationships, ones where you could see the little artistic touches I had put into the decor, and then there were the ones where you could just see the story, and so many where you could see the love.
You can't go wrong if you pick this amazing woman.

"Working with Naz for our 2022 wedding was a fantastic experience.
From our first conversations with her, we were struck by both her calm vibe and ability to listen to what we wanted and work with our particular needs.
We used an ‘engagement’ session for wedding portraits the weekend before our actual wedding and the pictures she sent back immediately were stunning (and we had a lot of fun traipsing around the redwoods together!).
Her calm presence made the wedding day itself go smoothly and she was able to document hilarious (and meaningful) moments with our guests that we would have otherwise missed.

"My fiancé and I were in San Francisco for a wedding and decided last minute on the flight there to get our engagement pictures in San Francisco! I reached out to Naz and she absolutely went above and beyond for us.
I sent her a picture I saw on Instagram for some photo inspiration by the Golden Gate Bridge and she drove around the next day until she found the exact spot!
She has so many great ideas and made taking pictures in the freezing rain so fun! She is so sweet, bubbly, accommodating, and crazy amazing at what she does! She even sent us all of her favorite restaurants, hiking spots, and sites to see when in town!

I thoughtfully document weddings on both digital and film. Film offers a richness and tonal depth that feels timeless and artful, while digital allows for responsiveness and versatility throughout the day.
What does your approach to posing look like?
My approach is gently guided and never overly posed. I’ll offer subtle direction to help you feel natural, then step back and allow genuine moments to unfold. The goal is for you and your guests to feel present with each other, not focused on the camera/me.
How many photographs can we expect?
I don’t believe in limiting the number of images delivered. You’ll receive a cohesive collection.
My focus is on telling the complete story of your day with care and intention, rather than delivering to meet a number.
How involved are you on the wedding day?
I’m present and attentive without wanting to take over. I’ll step in when direction is helpful, especially during portraits and family photographs, but much of my approach is observational. I want you to feel that you have a photographer who is paying close attention while still allowing you to be fully present with your people.
Do you photograph weddings of all sizes?
Yes. I photograph intimate elopements and city hall celebrations as well as larger weddings and multi-day celebrations. Regardless of the size of your wedding, my approach remains the same: thoughtful observation, beautiful imagery, and a focus on what makes your day uniquely yours.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I’m based in the Bay Area and photograph weddings throughout Northern California and beyond. I’m always happy to discuss travel and do my best to keep travel costs as reasonable as possible.
Can we add a second photographer to our collection?
Yes. A second photographer can be added to your collection for additional coverage throughout the day. This can be especially helpful for larger weddings, multi-location celebrations, or when you’d like more moments documented simultaneously.
